Hey - if you're here looking for new stuff, you're likely going to be disappointed. Check here instead.
June 10, 2004 Okay, so it's been more than a month since you've gotten a general update from us. Hope none of you were holding your breath. If you are, you'll have to keep holding it because this e-mail is just the details on our travel plans for the next 2 weeks. If you're not interested in our travels and tribulations you can delete this and wait for the next e-mail to come. We're getting ready for a whirlwind month of zooming around the country. So for those of you that care, we'll be leaving here on June 11th for an anti-racism retreat done by MCC. It will be held in Michigan at the Leaven Center, 35 miles from Lansing. On June 13th we'll be cruising towards Goshen, hopefully in time to make it to Faith Mennonite Church that evening. We will only be in Goshen for a day and a half -- the evening of the 13th and the 14th all day. A word for our GOSHENITE FRIENDS & FAMILY: Yes, we do want to see you. At the same time we also don't want to go insane. So we're going to manage both these things at once by parking in one place for that whole time and asking you to come find us at the Meyer farm. We're expecting to be relaxing there Sunday evening and Monday so we'd be happy to have you join us. Just give us a call at 642-3963 and check about stopping by. On June 15th we're off for Akron, PA and MCC leadership orientation. If you need to contact us during this time, you can call MCC (717) 859-1151 and let them know that you need to leave a message for someone in leadership orientation, or you can e-mail us. We'll return home to Porcupine on June 26th to take a deep breath before we head out west for a Hostetler family reunion in early July. We hope to send a real update in the next few days -- maybe we'll write it on the plane. Lots of love to all of you! Karissa & Carl
